Weekend has begun. Big temperature/humidity swing here after a front came through last night. From 90's and high humidity to 70's but with light drizzle. While it was drizzling last night, my wife decided to get her chest pains that she's been having over the last three days checked out, so we ended up spending 6 hours in the emergency room (9:30 PM to 3:30 AM). After all that, nothing cardiovascular related (as I expected, but I am not a doctor, nor do I play one on television). My schedule was completely thrown off though - after a shower at 4 AM didn't get out of bed until the dog complained at 9:30 AM.
Not a workday, so no impact to my leave balance. Took the dog for a hike and now I'm back contemplating going into the light drizzle to do some necessary weed control.
Spent some time on the phone with Home Depot. The double sink/countertop I ordered ended up damaged upon arrival at my local store with no available replacement. Ended up removing my backorder and was able to get something similar and they honored the price on the damaged one, so I guess my time on the phone was productive.
I also ordered a set of replacement wheels for the fronts of my zero turn through Amazon - got sick and tired of pumping up holey tires and opted for solids. Gonna affect my ride quality a bit, but at least I won't have the aggravation of weekly increases in pressure before cutting my hills. Those should be here sometime tomorrow.
My last gallon of asphalt crack filler showed up yesterday, but the wet pavement's going to delay that application.
Lunch and then weed until the arthritis drives me back inside.
