The Hobo Camp Fire Is going well #X.. Stop In!!!
Hear, hear Jim....!

"not been very active..." (My foot!)

We all knew things were not the best out there for quite a while, Charlie, and we missed your daily presence for a bit, but it seems like you've more than made up for lost time and things are picking up in an encouraging way. Our best to you and the bride, and we hope that you enjoy many, many more years enjoying what you have.

Took advantage of the good weather today on my day off after luxuriating under the covers until after the sun came up (work days mean a 0500 alarm and a groan), took the dog for a walk in the park, got my eyes checked and got a new (stronger) prescription for glasses then headed home to wash windows and window sills and finish power washing the patio. After dinner hung a new set of custom blinds in our bedroom. Finally made it down to my office.

Saw a former coworker at a retirement party last night (also a model railroader). I think we're going to make plans to have him come over to take a look at the Gorge soon. He had big plans for a triple level N-scale layout but is too busy in retirement... Maybe I can goose him into motion.

Tomorrow looks a bit bleaker for outdoor activities, but as everyone's said, we need the rain. Gas is on a 20-cent yoyo in the last few days. Saw $2.99 and then $3.19 the next day.
