It's a refreshingly brisk -16 with a wind chill of -38. High for today is scheduled to be -5. Spring is only 56 days away.
Yesterday was pretty quiet. My Thursday dinner was canceled due to illness so the only activity left was basketball last night. Lots of fun as always. Today's game has already been canceled and so have the area schools due to the extreme cold. Tomorrow's basketball game is still up in the air. Otherwise it looks to be a stay indoors weekend.
Wednesday when I was out gas was down to $2.39. Later I was out again and saw the gouging gas station had jumped to $2.69. I made a u-turn and promptly proceeded to my preferred gas station and was rewarded for my quick thinking. Gas there was still $2.39. By Thursday evening everyone was at $2.69.
