I'm sorry to report that from my foxhole, the quality of customer service has steadily eroded in virtually every industry, Charlie. I guess in the hobby world you would hope that more of the people involved might be hobbyists themselves, but things could certainly be better. Based on the manual that came with the locomotive, at least the guy who wrote it seemed to take great delight in writing it.
No great debacles in running trains over the superelevated Mud Run Curve, so I'm going to start resetting some of the damaged scenery mauled by my elbows and arms during the track removal, installation and tweaking. I might even reduce the number of trees between the river and the track there to allow more viewing of trains (and taking of pictures) on that curve!
