Greeting, gang.
It's a positively balmy 19 degrees outside my window this morning and the NWS is teasing us with a predicted high of around 34. If that's true it will be the first time in over 3 weeks that it's above freezing.
Had a basketball game for one of the great-grandsons yesterday morning. The family was in the bleachers waiting for the game to start when my granddaughter's dad arrived. As he started to climb the bleachers he put his hand on top of my head and used me as a handrail. I spent the rest of the day laughing about it. It's nice to know I'm useful for something anyway.
Got about an inch of snow overnight but I'm not gonna rush right out and clean it. The NWS is talking about possibly some freezing rain later this morning. I'll wait till that's over as it will be easier to clean than having the rain fall on bare cement. Nothing else planned for the day.
Gas was $2.37 when I was out yesterday.
