Good evening folks
What a raw day it has been. Started out with some ice glazing which delayed my drive to work. I drove over 100 miles on the job. I was checking on construction traffic warning signs which are spread out over 7 interchanges on the PA Turnpike from MP 333 (Norristown) to MP 352 (Street Road). I had to stop at a couple of locations and take photos and in the five or ten minutes I was out of the car my hands hurt from the cold and the wet.
Yesterday I had to get an ultrasound of my bladder and kidneys. While I currently don’t have an active UTI there are some trace elements that could be part of an UTI from my bloodwork and urine analysis I had done last week. Monday is hernia surgery day. I hope it happens this time as I want to get it over with.
Just for fun our plumbing decided it needed attention. I have not one but two bathroom waste pipes leaking. One from the foyer bathroom and the other from the second-floor main bathroom. The main bathroom one will involve cutting another hole or two in our living room wall to go with the one from the pipe freezing incident a couple of weeks ago. Not to be left out the slop sink in the basement that the washer outlets into stopped flowing and overflowed onto the floor. We are waiting for estimates from the plumber. I need to talk to my insurance agent about some things.
I started reorganizing my 40-foot boxcar collection. Currently it is spread out over several bins with no rhyme or reason. I am thinking of organizing it by road name. With all the plumbing fun in the basement I had to stop organizing and do some emergency relocations. I am hoping to get back to it tonight.
