Big event of the day: I passed my driving test.
Anticlimax: This is a test that has to be taken age 80 and every two years thereafter. The test consists of an eyetest (read one line in a viewer*) and draw a clock showing a certain time. The time is revealed on the letter they send out. I was shaky on the eyetest -- read G when it was C but they let me fix it.
* and a peripheral vision test of flashing lights.
