Places:
Marlpost - while not entirely fictional (it was the name of my Grandfather's house in England), Marlpost, Ontario is the fictitious 1930s town due to take shape on my free-mo style modules.
Railways:
Marlpost Ontario Western - My lazy attempt to create a fictional road with no need for custom decalling. After all, there's lots of interesting rolling stock lettered for "MOW"

Ottawa, Algonquin & Georgian Bay - My "what if" railway. The Ottawa, Arnprior & Parry Sound Railway was bought by GTR in the early 1900s and taken into the Canadian National fold in the 1920s. This route through Algonquin Park was cut by the washout of a trestle that was not rebuilt. The line suffered an instant and enduring decline. My "what-if" imagines that the locals along the line started their own company to save area businesses, leased the line from CNR and repaired the trestle.
The OA&GB is the route of the illustrious Pine Tree (east-west from Ottawa to Georgian Bay) and Highlander - the Toronto to Algonquin Park train that delivers vacationers to the Highland Inn.
