Florida license plates needed
#4
The answer to the question about Florida tag format is a little muddled, and I live in Florida, but hopefully this will help.

In general, our common tags (as in the ones that you don't have to pay extra to get) are two groups of three characters, one group on either side of the Florida/Orange logo that's in the middle.

My personal tag has the format of ANN NAA (A = Alpha and N = Numeric), although just looking around the parking lot, I quickly saw tags formatted as ANN NNA and AAA NNA (I think this is an older one).

Specialty tags (the ones with the logos, that support causes or institutions) and vanity tags have different requirements.

You might want to see that you make out of the information available here: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.licenseplates.cc/highs.php?where=FL">http://www.licenseplates.cc/highs.php?where=FL</a><!-- m -->.

That site is not run by FDOT or any other state agency, but the stuff they're presenting looks "right".
