Here is one more project I have pulled off the workbench with my unemployment. Believe it or not, I am running out of unfinished rolling stock projects! 
I finally got around to soldering a firebox out of brass. I never did figure out how to make a truss rod for the cylinder side that won't interfere with the driveline, so I am going to leave that detail off. With the driveline on that side, it won't be too noticeable. I also cut a pathway for the headlight wires and installed an LED headlight.
