That truss bridge would make an imposing addition to a layout! Wonder how long that one is?

It's the only railroad bridge over the Salt River. In fact, it was one of the only bridges left standing after floods in 1980, and provided a vital lifeline:

Looking at the photos, the original piers were steel and not concrete.
