The 0-4-0 is made for both O gauge and G, yes, those are a tad pricey.
A friend of mine runs the following site. As he's learned more about live steam, he's started selling ever more interesting (and therefore expensive!) models. The whole site is interesting from a toy standpoint (I'm also a fan of live steam), but this is probably one of the most relevant pages to this conversation. Cool stuff:
