Finally got into Bing aerials w/ birds-eye view of the LAJ Horn Lead:

Once opened click on "Proceed to this site". Zoom in to find west end of the Horn Lead east of Downey Rd and between District Bl & Fruitland Av. If you get "Road" on right aide above image, put your cursor over it to get Birds Eye.
Also check out the joint LAJ/ATSF team tracks at Fruitland & Seville. Very model-able! ATSF got to their side from Malabar yard which is inside & south of the Pacific Bl "elbow".
Access to the J is via UP's San Pedro Sub parallel to Downey Rd. This is just north of Charter St. Follow it north to get to ATSF''s Hobart Yard & then UP's East Yard . The PE?SP interchange track w/ the J is from tha rails running along Randolph St on the south side.
As can be seen modeling the J will be some track w/ mostly buildings, streets & parking lots for scenery. So the only veg will be a few weeds here & there. Yeehaw!
