Answer:---- I wasn't "listening", but it was loud enough that I couldn't,.. "not hear".

I still haven't gotten used to people walking down the street, talking to themselves, that's crazy!
( oh, they're not crazy, they're just "on the phone" )
( or....suffering from AHCDS----- Advanced Hyper- Conversational Dependency Syndrome )

Ignorance is Bliss --- Oh, to once again, be ignorant of everyone Else's phone conversations.

Quick !!!, someone invent a " Portable Personal Instant Phone Booth " !!----- one made of an alloy of GERN Flux, that would be 3% more sound deadening. 357 357

My uncle used to work for a Swiss company and every once in awhile, he had to travel to Switzerland for business. On one trip, one of his cohorts invited him to take a train over the border into Italy to see something really funny. When they got off the train in Italy, my uncle saw what his friend was talking about. Cell phone companies had just come out with headsets, so seeing a bunch of Italians walking around talking to nobody in particular with their hands moving all over the place reminded my uncle of an insane asylum.

On that note, on my honeymoon in Italy, my wife and I took a tour from Rome to Pompeii (it's only 2 hours by bus). On the trip back to Rome, everyone was taking a nap, including the tour guide. I could hear the bus driver talking to someone, but not with anybody on the bus. I peeked around the seat in front of me to see the rear view mirror only to see that he had the cell phone up to his ear with his left hand while steering, shifting (Italian buses still use stick shift), and conversing Italian Style with his right hand in the air. Now that is skilled driving.
