Managed to get so permanent roads and yard area done in styrene...these are now glued in place and is the first real thing to be done on the layout that hopefully won't need to be replace!

   

   

   

I used LM's idea of RustOleum textured plastic spray paint and automotive primer and it worked very well...Thanks LM!! I had an unintended hishap when I was a being little rushed in putting the second coat on, ended up giving me a crackled finish that actually looks really good!! I wanted an old look to the yard so it was a blessing that it did this, won't try get it 'right' again though, the other roads need to be well maintained and look good!
