Planning new FWWR layout
#1
Was having some issues with my current layout: http://www.the-gauge.net/forum/viewtopic...=46&t=4507. After 2 years it does not seem to be what I envisioned. Seemed that the layout morphed into something to complex and not the industrial layout that I want. The FWWR runs a few trains a day and I wanted to follow a job. My room size did not allow the amount of opperators that was needed to run the trains that i had planned. Since I may be the only opperator wanted to simplify the track plan. Was not happy with two decks and the helix took up to much room, the room is only 20' x 15' .

The FWWR has a job called the Everman Job that seems to be more of what im looking for: http://www.bing.com/maps/?v=2&cp=32.642 ... orm=LMLTCC . From what ive been able to find out runs from Hodge Yard enters UP trackage to the Everman Industrial Park Area and back. At the industrial area there is a small 4 track interchange yard for the industrial park. I think UP drops off and PU cars and the FWWR Everman Job switchs the park.

Here is my room:
