I got to ride in the cab of the "Russian" Frisco decapod, that runs at the Illinois Railway Museum, at Union, Illinois.
The wider driver tires are " noticeable ", to say the least.
The fireman, finished a can of soda, and tossed the empty into the firebox....the aluminum can vaporized long before the firebox door could close.
