Does Pelle model urban scenery? I haven't seen his new book. Most of his modeling that I have seen is focused on either Mojave, Ca or the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Mojave is the Eastern portal to Tehachapi for those not familiar with California Railroading. His modeling is perfect for the subjects that he has chosen to model, but not appropriate for modeling an urban railroad setting. Lance's modeling is probably an excellent representation of the industrial section of Miami, (I've never been to Miami so I can't speak from experience), but it does not resemble Vernon, East L.A., or Commerce in California. I guess the point is that the prototype changes depending on where it is and when it was built and why it was built. Your scenery looks great. I would not worry about whether it is like Pelle's or Lance's scenery unless you are trying to model the same places that they model.
