Following the prototype are locals run be pairs go GP60.
The color of the AC units on the cab roof is a nice puzzle. They start all with ATSF yellow but it looks like the AC units are not very reliable and will be replaced rather often. The replacement units may be light gray (I guess that is the manufacturer primer), BNSF orange, black like roofs at BNSF painted GP39-2 or dark blue (may be old ATSF paint found in the cabinet). All that changes without any system at most older ATSF engines. I think they take what ever can be grabbed first in the parts store.
I decided to stay with the original yellow on two units and painted two orange (after the photos have been taken). However, most units have in 2012 one of the replacements with a random color.
