Hi Charlie---Canadian National also had similiar looking locomotives as CP's 9008.Built by GE in 1990,the 2400 series C40-8M locomotives were known as ''draper tapers".The full body gave them a massive and attractive look---I don't know if they were geared for high speed passenger service but they sure looked good at the head of freight trains.I really wish our Canadian railroads would follow Norfolk Southern's example and create some heritage units---actually Canadian Pacific had a very attractive maroon,grey and yellow scheme and the Canadian National had the classic green,black and yellow livery---man,I'll bet they would be beauties.
