Hello Charlie and Mark---thanks for responding.Charlie,I haven't seen any CSX power in Hamilton for a long time---Norfolk Southern will occasionally show up in this area though.CSX was common long ago running trains on the old Canada Southern line which ran from Fort Erie (Buffalo) to Windsor (Detroit).This line was south of Hamilton.

Mark---I actually thought of you when I took this picture as you recently posted a thread on the upcoming Rapido model of the GMD1---these locomotives were produced when the CNR was still operating steam in the late fifties---I can imagine they looked great double-heading with a CNR Mikado which probably happened long ago at the same location my picture was taken.

I found some photos of Illinois Central's SD70's in their original colours---personally I like the CN version
