Good morning all and I hope you are having a great weekend. I can't believe we are just four days away from July 4th. It just seems that we were in the middle of February just last week.... 
I have to mention the weather once again, it's getting a bit tiring I know, but the whole SW is in a heat wave. Yesterday, Phoenix had a record 119, while we here on the outskirts were lucky with only 117 outside showing on our car thermometer. Humidity was around 8%, but that really doesn't help when it's that hot out. Las Vegas wasn't too much better at 118. That's weird, I've been up to Vegas when there was snow on the ground, talk about extreme changes.
We are in for some more today, it's only 5:30 here and it's 89°with a high expected of 115. I guess it's one of those, "don't go outside unless you really have to" days
..... I can't believe that some people actually drove to Death Valley, CA just to be in the heat. I guess they were disappointed because it only got up to 128 there. :o And yes, we still are having people in the Phoenix area hiking the mountain and desert trails.
