Really helpful information. I'll take a lot for this book, may be of terrific help for me. Looks like I may have to repaint my Russell some day.
I asked about the orange color because I often see pictures of Russell in orange without the wet noodle.
I don't know when I'll be back at full throttle in modelling. This spring and summer are totally overloaded at work, too many real life project going on at the same time. And many activities kept me out of the hobby for quite a few weeks.
I'm actually planning a major rebuilding of Hedley-Junction, which, if accepted by club members, would make it much more prototypical. And that means scratchbuilding CNR (ex-QRL&PCo) electric steeple cab and, maybe, a RSC-24 that was pulling trains to Murray Bay back in the good ol' time.
