I just happened to notice this thread this morning, and I just took a picture of my work area, as part of a thread on another forum. So, here is my work area, and my current "project", USS Kodiak NCC-6000.
I do have a work bench in the basement, where all the "machine tools" reside. I do have to fight off the spiders, to get to the drill press, and lathe, as most of my work is with hand tools.
