Leon, Hi ! Ah, the mysteries of the PRR...and black or green on Pennsy steam. The folks who can quote you chapter and verse reside at the PRRTHS (great resource, but sometimes difficult access), or this web group of sites - <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://kc.pennsyrr.com/">http://kc.pennsyrr.com/</a><!-- m -->. There you'll learn the truth of DGLE (Dark Green Locomotive Enamel) and it's appropriate application. Honestly, I don't know - but you'll find out so much good PRR stuff, that you'll assemble and paint phenomenal locos, and (hopefully) share your hard-earned knowledge with us, (Pics are Great) here at the B.B.Gauge. ...Or, someone may have a better answer...good hunting !
