Well, the Potomac Line already uses some sort of GERN Flux-based lube in the journal boxes of it's equipment -yielding 3% more free-rolling equipment and thus 3% less rolling resistance and giving the locomotives 3% more tractive effort- so I can see they would want to try this stuff out as well.
