The first forum I participated in imploded shortly after I joined (in an internal political squabble), and I nearly quit the whole thing. Fortunately I found the original incarnation of The Gauge after giving internet forums (fora?) another chance. That was the version run by Dave (?) with Robin and Shamus and other now-familiar names.
We all know the story of what happened in between, so let me just add my THANKS!!
to Mikey and Don for bringing us back to our roots so to speak, and (re)creating the best of The Gauge while leaving the baggage behind.
From a moderator's point of view, this version of The Gauge has to be the absolute best. The members are fantastic, the owners are good guys, and the spammers have not really found us 
so our job is pretty sweet.
