The NOT SO Great Train Expo @ Cal Expo

After getting back fromthe "Great" Train Expo, I have renamed this topic. Maybe my expectations were too high, but man was I disappointed. Half a tank of gas, $10 parking, $7 admission, and I spent $6 on a bobber caboose. Hardly any HO, mostly O scale and N. About the only thing of interest was the demonstration on geodesic foam rock molding although there was a great Z scale layout. Many prices I saw were higher than my LHS too. I guess not many of us were buying either because I heard many of the sellers complaining. Live and learn I guess.
