Charlie,
At one point I had 50" of water in my basement. I am surprised there is no cracking from it. The water came to the top edge of my benchwork. Most of my MRR stuff was on top of the bench. The insurance, while slow, is handling the claim without argument. I do have some loss, everything but the pictures and personal mementos is replaceable.
