Just in case anyone is interested I just purchased one and put it in a Bachmann Berkshire. 
I love it. I accidentally knocked it over on its side while running and it laid there still running for a few seconds. I have a cross over coming out of yard. Nothing will go through it without stopping. Until now, at a snails pace no problem. I have a swing out section with about 4 feet of safety kill track when open. I have the top speed set so that it stops before it gets to the end of the track when opened. I feel that this is the ultimate in decoders.
