I had to go back and check, and it seems I joined the old Gauge on September 6th, 2005. I had already joined the MR site earlier (January, 2004), and got an invitation from Andrew (Masonjar) to check out the Gauge. I still get the occasional notification from there when somebody comments on one of my threads. I noticed today that I'm also on their list of "Notable Members". 
I wonder if that's because I deleted all of my photos from their Gallery before I left?
