Ha' such simple ideas should be outlawed 
Reminds me of a problem a friend had just today,the door leading to his train room refused to stay open constantly swinging shut ever so slowly when he wanted it open for ventilation.
He removed the pins from the hinges and roughed them up..no dice went to the expense of replacing them....nope' kept swinging shut finally asked me if i knew of a solution.
Asked 'em for a small punch 'n' a ball peen hammer.
Knocked the pins out of the hinges took the pins outside on the concrete and gave'm a whack with the hammer putting a slight kink in the pin, just enough to cause a little friction.
Drove' them back in the hinges ......no more swinging door.
