The Hobo Camp Fire Is going well #X.. Stop In!!!
Greetings, gang.

51 and rain headed for 56 and rain. Just gonna be a dreary day today.

Routine visit to the gym yesterday and if I can find some ambition under a couch cushion or in the back of a closet I may grab the umbrella and go for a walk later.

2 of my three email accounts have been hacked along with my xbox account. Each time it takes about a half hour of trying to prove I'm who I say I am before I can use them again. Annoying!

After I gassed up the car yesterday for my trip this weekend the price dropped 3 more cents to $4.09. Premium has jumped from 80 cents higher than regular to a dollar higher.

All stay safe.

Good Morning Everyone,

It's not supposed to be that warm of a day here today and tomorrow isn't looking any better because it's supposed to rain all day. I have been busy with the trains again and will be posting new stuff this upcoming weekend. I actually had a HO Scale Model Train Service Port made by a coworker of my fiance. It is 3D printed and I must say that it does help out a lot.

In other news, I guess it's time to let the cat out of the bag. I had applied for disability per my doctors request. It took a little over a year after being denied twice and then having a hearing over the phone with the judge, my attorney and social security. That was back in September and I just found out last week that I was approved for it. So now I am waiting to hear back from my attorney about the SSI because they might need some more information. But knowing I was approved for both SSDI & SSI has brought some relief to myself and my family as this will help with some of the financial woes of life. Never did I think at my age I would have to apply for that stuff nor did I think it would get approved but I guess this last surgery was the final nail in the coffin as they say.

Now it is time to get ready for physical therapy ( even though it's not helping ) and after that we got some errands to take care of. We will then come home and I will get back to the trains once again. Take care my friends.

Hello Blue. It has been gloomy all day, temp is 58 with a heap of rain headed our way. Out to Menards this morning. Of course we bought some things. A new Christmas tree as our old one was dropping needles galore and lights were burning out. Checked out the 3 rail train shelves, passed on buying anything. Bought gas at Sheetz for $4.37, others were $4.55.

Thank You Mikey. Yes I have known people to wait a few years until they was able to get anything. My sister in law fought for years and didn't get approved. She finally gave up on it. I typed in google about disability attorneys and filled out the form. Within 10 minutes they called and have been fighting for me since. They swear they haven't lost a case yet and the winning continued with me.

Greetings, gang.

46 in the remote reaches of northern Iowa this morning. The NWS is only allowing us to get to the low 50s but is generously providing winds near 40 mph. Freeze warning for tomorrow morning.

Yesterday was productive in that I found the leak in the lawn shed. Apparently when the tree was taken down last summer a branch was dropped on the roof leaving a dent. I merely pushed the dent back up from inside the shed and the leak stopped. Problem solved. After that I took a 2 mile walk in the rain. Very pleasant. Late afternoon involved a cross country track meet for one of the great-grandsons. With the rain and wind it was not nearly as pleasant.

I'll be loading up the car shortly for my annual trip to Nebraska for the train show. I'll be back late Sunday so participation here will be limited.

Gas dropped another 3 cents yesterday.

All stay safe.
