This is a photo of my 12"x6ft. layout under construction.....I realize your layout is 2 inches thinner but I'm just posting this to give you a good idea of scale and what you can fit into a particular area. Its not a protypical Inglenook but as you can see the right hand is and the left-hand is a tuning-fork layout......hopefully this is of some help.
