Greetings, gang.
Another chilly morning in the remote reaches of northern Iowa. Currently 33 degrees headed for maybe 60 if the NWS is feeling generous.
Quiet day yesterday. Did a little grocery shopping but otherwise goofed off. Today looks to be the same except I'll be substituting a trip to the gym for the grocery shopping.
The big oil companies have generously lower the price of gas by a whole 4 cents after raising it by 41 cents on Tuesday.
All stay safe.

Hello Blue
We have sun at 45 degrees. 50s for the day.
I got no big news. Had an eye doctor visit yesterday, our daughter took me so I wouldn't drive home blurry eyed. I have done it with no problem, however. With many members at York the clubhouse will be closed tonight. We have a member who's second wife has died from cancer, sadly cancer also took his first wife just a few years ago.

Greetings, gang.
48 and cloudy this morning. Supposed to get to the upper 50s later on.
Got a couple of projects done yesterday. Hauled away some yard waste then after lunch I got the storm windows cleaned and installed on the front porch. Now when it's not too cold I can start the space heater and still be warm out there. Routine Saturday ahead - laundry and college football. The game is at 11 so after it's over I may get the car out and wash it.
Gas dropped another 6 cents yesterday - down to $2.89
All stay safe.

Greetings, gang.
48 with a few clouds hanging around. Supposed to get to the 60s and the NWS will be taking steps to remove the few remaining clouds.
Yesterday went pretty much as advertised until after the football game. Ran into a motivation deficit and never got the car washed. Today I need to get another herd of leaves rounded up and if there's enough energy left over I may wash the car. The F1 race is from Mexico City today and will be on TV during prime leaf cleaning time. I'll probably watch the delayed version this evening.
Gas took another 6 cent drop this morning - down to $2.83.
All stay safe.

Greetings, gang.
Cloudy skies this morning which will bring rain tonight into tomorrow with a 90% chance. 46 headed for the upper 50s. With the rain tomorrow it will be a good day to take the umbrella for a walk.
Leaf herding went well yesterday and I was able to watch a rather entertaining F1 race live. This morning I need to get rid of the leaf herd from yesterday followed by a trip to the gym. This evening is a choral concert at a great-grandson's high school.
Gas continues to drop - down another 4 cents. That's a 20 cent drop in less than a week.
All stay safe.

Hello folks.
It has been a while since I checked in on this thread, I just haven't felt like writing much.
I still have no stamina but other than that I am healthy. My wife if progressing very well, she is back to doing the housework (which I could never do to her satisfaction ) Her sister that lives in Phoenix was here for a week and that is a good time to stay out of the way.
I had my visit with my urologist today and she says the urine test shows no cancer so hopefully I m winning that battle. I started taking Ivermectin 4 months ago and for the first time in 5 years my PSA has remained steady. I also got my drivers license renewed so I am good until December 2029.
I think I already mentioned I got the snowplow on the tractor and the snow blower is serviced and running And I have a cab enclosure for the tractor. so that should be enough to keep the snow from falling in my area.
Gas at the Sheets store was 2.42 and 2.74 or more every where else.
Cheers to all and stay safe.

Mid 40s going to the low 50s later. It was just starting to rain when I got up yesterday and it was still raining when i went to bed last night. Wound up with over an inch of rain. Much needed as it's been very dry lately.
With the light rain I took a nice long walk after lunch and that was pretty much the extent of my activities for the day. This morning is a trip to the gym but otherwise another day of not much going on.
All stay safe.

Well went off to Menards this morning. Checked out their train stock. Lots of buildings, very little rolling stock. Gas was $2.84, lowest I saw.

A bit breezy and chilly to start the day - got an invite to play golf this morning so I had to layer up. By the time we got to #13 I was down to a short sleeve shirt with the sun making an appearance.
Day 29 of the shutdown. All of the guys I golfed with are also in the same boat - we need to get back to work and are distressed by the lack of effort in Washington. Meanwhile, I'm getting used to what retirement will be like in 3 years. My wife admitted the first week was hard to get used to, but she's apparently gotten used to having me around more or less full time.
Rudy's Printing has been altered a bit - it's about to be a real estate office. Once I finish the water tank on the roof I'll get some pix out.
My daughter in law is in town for the weekend to shoot a wedding. Might have to pick her up at the airport tomorrow morning.

Cloudy and 39 outside my window in the remote reaches of northern Iowa this morning. Headed to maybe the mid 40s this afternoon with a 20% chance of some rain this evening.
Yesterday was actually moderately productive. First up was a trip to Menards for some new solar powered security lights for the back yard. The others were 10-15 years old and were no longer reliable. Discovered there was no school which meant the gym would have an increased number of "enthusiastic" teens so that idea was scrapped. When I got home from Menards I discovered the toilet upstairs was not shutting off properly. I had previously purchased a new flush valve so I started to install that. Plastic float arm was too long so I had to make a second trip to Menards for a new one. After lunch I got the new security lights installed. Only items on the agenda for today are laundry this morning and college football this evening.
Gas was down to $2.59 this morning.
All stay safe.

We bought a new dehumidifier today. Our old one was putting water out over the floor -- I think the shut off switch was not operating.
We now have to get rid of the old one. SWMBO is in favour of just putting it in the bin, but I think there are disposal regulations for the refrigeration gasses. Besides, I can't lift it that high.
I spent the morning turning over the calendars. I spent the evening turning back most of the clocks. Mosr of the internet radios have a quick (once you find it) tab between Daylight slaving and not.

Good morning Blue
Like many others, I woke up an hour early this morning, stupid clock change, DST should be in the winter.
I watched a lot of football yesterday, in fact did little else. I might cut the grass one last time as the front is covered with leaves, I just chop them up with the mower.
