Day late, but still the tail end of something....   My first blue caboose slaved to the end of my mixed freight heads into White Haven.  As with the prototype, this one began its life as a Pennsy.  The three bridge sections are Micro Engineering Company 50' open deck models.  I remember putting them together in or around 2007 and griping about some of the small detail pieces - especially the reinforcment bars on the lower flange sections of the I-beams, but they really show up nicely in this photo, so I'm glad I stuck with it.  Probably goes for a lot of things on my layout - when you consider the ridiculous amount of time we spend on this hobby, it's no wonder our spouses think we're all bats.  The real prototype is about twice the length and was double tracked prior to Conrail.

Roundhouse kit undecorated. These are a real pain. The metal castings are bowed and brittle requiring a lot of epoxy to repair.

Hillyard,

Thanks for the comment.  It's a building flat from Trackside Scenery.  I used photoshop to add the side walls.
