Hey everyone, just found this out so if you can catch them on their way to where to Ft. Wayne catch them. NS SD9Ms 52 and 57 were spotted in Conway yesterday. They left Altoona bound for their new assignment as preserved railroad equipment.

That's good news. When they left Camden,NJ was told that they were to be scrapped. Here's a pic of them at the CSAO Pavonia Engine House from March 2009.
Yes it is good news. Good to see they were not scrapped. I hope someone here besides you got a photo of them so that I can use them on the website. I will show how they looked before and now.

57 is going to New Haven (Fort Wayne) and 52 is going to Bellevue.

Caught these units today. Seen the train in Lilly and raced to South Fork to get there and it came to a stop because of a red signal. Also gt a surprise, there was a scale test car right behind the last locomotive.
