Few odds and ends from Wednesday April 13th...
All kinds of leased power running on NS these days (including a fleet of C40-8's leased from UP) and here are a couple of the others we frequently see
One of the new 8000 series ES44AC's
And shots of the Georgia Power coal train 792 with DPU power after taking on fuel in Danville
Front (south end) of train with ES44AC 8033-8058
Rear (north end) with C40-8 8717 and ES44AC 8071
A couple more of the NS leased locomotives that frequent this area
CEFX 2786 - EMD SD-45
And one of the UP C40-8 leased units
Note the "NS Lease" decal on the side of the cab...
Wish I had time to stop and get a picture today, there was a rather odd loco heading up a stack train at Wyo this morning. Definitely not the usual run through or leased power like UP, it was a real oddball, but I had no way to stop and grab a picture. Hopefully someone was shooting around Reading this morning and caught it.

Here are 3 video's I shot in Portage, Pa. All three trains were minutes apart from each other. Enjoy the video's. There will be more to come this summer plus alot of photo's.

East Bound with 1 NS Unit, 2 BNSF Units, & a 4 Banger Unit on the rear. This coal drag was moving at a fast pace for the amount of tonage it was hauling behind it.
