Also - Sometime in the next 2 weeks, we ALL will have to rebuild our teams.... From the Rules "How to Play":
In the Stock Car Challenge, the 2013 NASCAR Season is divided into three segments:

Segment 1 (11 races)
Segment 2 (15 races)
Segment 3 (10 races)
* See Official Rules for Segment Race List.

After each of these segments rosters will be reset and players will have to construct a new team for the first race of that segment.

I'll try to keep an eye on it, but if someone sees that the Second Segment is open - Post it here so the rest of us can set our teams

Not sure I follow Mikey ...reconstruct from what , the very first team? I've made so many ( useless ) changes , I don't have any idea where I started in the first race .

At the end of each segment.. (The first segment ended Saturday night).. The computer blanks out all your drivers.. You have to go back in before the next race and choose 5 drivers again. You'll have to do this again at the beginning of The Chase too. You can pick any 5 drivers.. Same as you just had last week, or any combination of new and old ones.

Some of us set our teams and just leave the same drivers in every week. It's "us" that have to remember to draft 5 drivers You guys that take care of your teams weekly will be fine

Just don't get confused if you go in to the game and you have no drivers It just means you have to choose your entire team

Which also I guess I should mention. Don't choose your team too soon, this week.. Wait until someone posts that the teams have all been erased, Then go in and choose your drivers. Otherwise - you'll set your team up and the computer will still erase all your drivers and you'll have to set the team up again

Otherwise, Remember if you want to see the Indy 500, It starts at 12:00 Noon EDT and the Coca Cola 600 begins at 6:00 PM the same day - May 26th.......

Remember - if you want to see your overall positions, you have to go look at the ESPN league page - these are only the positions for this week.

On a side note , I was saddened to see that Dick Trickle recently took his life . He was quite the character back in the day ...saw him at a local track here in Ontario about 30 years ago .....a heavy smoker , legend has it he was the only driver to have a cigarette lighter in the car for those long caution laps .

Don't know , Mike , but I'm sure there will be info forthcoming ......taking his life in a cemetery is , well , odd to say the least . My first thought was terminal illness but I don't know .

Mine as well. A couple of decades ago we had a judge that parked by the rear door of the local funeral home here and shot himself. Know one knows for sure why.

I don't get that channel. When Fox turns the racing over to their cable channel in June that will be the end of televised NASCAR until next year.
