My apologies, :oops:
I thought all the words of wisdom had been dispensed on the subject and as Life has been getting in the road of late, I had not been back here for a bit, ...However I will follow the advice and install an LED (or two maybe..) and when I catch my tail I will post the results .
Still need to get the decoder Big Grin

There are two types of Ringfield motor, one of which you have to be very careful with as one of the screws makes the chassis live and a fried decoder is the result.
