Nice to see the interior detail, and the weathering, especially on the roof, is superb Cheers

Cheers,

Kev
Thanks Kev , the fire marshal made them go from wood to a metal roof as the sawbust burner was too close to the structure.
Thanks , Mike

Well all in all it was a productive weekend. I got all the stringer extensions made and installed. and got the masonite for the facia. Other than having a guy in a pickup hit me and my cart at Lowes all went well.
Got home and was able to get the new fcia cut and up then down and profiles cut and back up. Next will be the filler homasote pieces on the top.

Hey Mike..!! Long time no see...

I 've been contemplating starting work on portions of the fascia...So your post is quite timely...!!
I'll be following your progress with interest as I have no idea on how to extend the scenery from the tracks to the fascia...

Keep up the excellent work...I'm sure we all can pick up a few pointers from you... Thumbsup

Thanks Gus , I did the filling today and what I do is make a cardboard template and get it to fit and then cut a new piece of homasote for the to be filled area, i screw that to the stringers it hits and then make a homasote splice plate for underneath where the pieces come together and glue and screw it in place . Then tomorrow I will remove the screws on the splice plate and it will be bonded.

Happy Valentines all. Today I stayed inside and worked on the milling house for the saw mill area. Not pictured but built are many log and lumber piles.
Here are some pics of the finished buildings.

Gavin and I managed to get a video update done on the ACTRR yesterday as well as some basic switching for Mr G and I to practice the basic building and industry locations.

You've been very busy Mike!

The new fascia looks great, and will be really smart once you've painted it. Thumbsup

I like the way you are re-arranging the layout, much more switching opportunities, and it all fits together very well. Your plan to have an open 'desert area is a good one, and will provide a nice contrast with the busier areas. Cheers

All in all another great video (obviously helped by the very professional assistant), keep them coming!

Cheers,

Kev
