FRA Refuses to Prohibit One-Person Crew
#1
All of us are intrigued by trains and their operation. This is a real-world situation that could have an effect on any of us. http://www.railwayage.com/breaking-news/...crews.html Hope this isn't as detrimental and dangerous as it looks, or that the FRA rescinds this before it cost LIVES, as well as jobs. I'd like to see what any/all of you think, though I guess there's no Public comment/input period on a non-ruling ? Please be careful, all. Nope Bob C.

I don't see a problem with it, there's many jobs out there that have one man crews and are just as dangerous if not worse. Even confined space allows one man entry, to the extent to be monitored but that still won't help if something happens and you're alone.
