One of my throttles has a problem that I have been unable to address. Namely when I plug it into a UP5 loconet and then put on track power the following occurs on this one throttle: the viewing screen intermittently flashes 'dt300id' then it flashes track voltage, back and forth it goes! I have no control of the throttle at this point for any function. When it is flashing the track voltage the semiphore signal indicators also flash in the corner of the screen and a series of numbers scroll across the top of the screen also!!! All very confusing. Just in case the loconet plug was worn I replaced it but it is the same. Any suggestions other then sending it to Digitrax for a fix?

Is it possible you have a short somewhere? Did you make any changes to your wiring or your trackwork? Any metal objects laying across your rails. I am not familiar with Digitrax products, however whenever my Power Cab starts flashing and doing the funky chicken like that it means I have a short somewhere on the layout.

I know a couple of local (Ottawa) guys are members there, and they speak highly of it.

I know there isn't a short problem as the layout runs fine and the issue is confined to this one throttle. I shall contact the Digitrax group Andrew. Thanks for the tip.

Glad Andrew came up with that link....I looked for it as I've gotten some good advice there when I had a problem with my Zephyr, but couldn't find it.... :oops: Let's hope they can sort things out for you...

I have exactly the same problem with my DT300 throttle, did you have any luck with repairs?
