I scratchbuilt Straton Brook for a challenge a couple of months ago. I lost, but when you.re going up against the likes fo Gary S, Rienhard and other greats, its hard to win. Anyway...I was never really satisfied the way the platform looked. It was too narrow, and probably too high, and looked out of place.
So I ripped the old one apart, and made a wider, more reasonanable looking platform. During the destruction stage, I lost a street lamp, the sign on the roof, and a commuter. And also had to rewire for the lights as the wires got cut.

The lower profile does look better. Good call there, 88! On the new platform, are those scribed lines on sheet, or something pre-made?

I like the new platform Ed and the nice details like the soda machines and trash can. Looks like an inviting place to catch a train!
