I am starting on the third store for my downtown business district.Did I mention these are Z scale? Eek

Now that Lynda's Lair is to this point.

I have started on Hood's Automotive ,the local NAPA store .This one was suggested by a cyber friend in Texas who thought Lynda's looked like a local NAPA store.

Thought about it for a couple days and have decided that this will be Fowler's Fine Furniture store store. Not much done on this one yet.I will do the Family Fare as a stand alone with a fairly large parking lot.

Don't have a clue as to what the next store will be ,yet. <- This hasn't changed yet.

Icon_lol You need stores named: "siZes"...or how 'bout: "ZZTops!" ...and maybe: "Zetrain Eye Wear Solutions" with a slogan, "We magnify your world."

Clearly...I better stop...and go back to my nscale world that's hard enough to see. Cheers

That's shaping up to be a nice row of merchants. Reminds me of a lot of typical scenes along downtown streets. Looking forward to seeing how they develop!
What's the foot print of that group of structures in Z?

The three stores pictured take up 7- 11/16 " or in Z feet 141 ' when this section is done the stores will use up approximately 13" of real estate or 235 Z scale feet

By the time I am done every commercial and industrial building will be scratchbuilt.I am having more fun than is probaly legal doing them too.

There is a store front on Grand Ave. in St. Paul that looks just like that! The windows on top are a great addition. The store I'm thinking of has a dance studio on the second floor and you can sometimes see girls practicing ballet up there as you walk on the other side of the street. I forget what business is on the ground floor. Nice one Catt!
