For those of you that may vaguely recall my layout over at Zealot ( http://www.zealot.com/forum/showthread.php?t=112916 ), I bring news. She's no more.

Times change, the family has been getting bigger and the dining room wasn't. Last week, I finally made the decision to break it down into two pieces and move it out to the garage where I can finish demolition. Soooo, in parting sorrow, I leave you with some before and afters.

It is sad how much quicker they come down than they go up. I will miss watching that layout progress.

It's always sad to see a layout torn down...for whatever reason... Nope

The up-side, of course, is that now you get to make a bigger & better one.... 2285_

Good luck with your new venture....and keep us posted. Thumbsup

What a pity, but think of the new opportunities that present themselves. Good luck.

Does this mean that you're not going to have any time to come over and help me with my trackwork now? Wink

Well I will be looking to see what is the next project.
Sounds like you are moving the new layout to a new location in the house. I hope you are building a new one!
Must have been hard to demo the layout. Lots of work, time and effort went into it. And it looked GREAT!
So I will be looking forward to see the NEW ONE. I am sure it will be of the same fine craftsmanship.

Nope. Not at all. I said I'd help and indeed I will.

I am still working on the G scale but for the last couple of months, I've had a serious lack of motivation and not much progress has been made. I better get off my butt pretty soon 'cause it'll be 100 & teens before much longer down here again.
