Norfolk Southern Heritage Fleet

Wow...they're really cranking these units out now. Good for them! At this rate, NS will have a lot more colorful units running the rails pretty quickly.

Now...when can I place my order to get a few of these in Nscale??????

As of yesterday the NKP Heritage unit was back in Altoona. Don't know if she is still there or not.

No photo credit to me, Mr. Nutbar...NS seems to be posting most of these, though have gotten a few from the local fans & the Yahoo fellowship. I believe Franklin Adams has set up a Gallery for the NS Heritage fleet at http://www.railpictures.net/album/103/ to archive (at least) the NS releases...I'm just keepin' my eyes open. Order is in for the Southern unit. And I sure hope FVM offers up the N&W unit soon as well.

As far as I was told, the PRR unit is to be on 11A tomorrow morning. 11A starts its run at Reading, Pa, stops in Altoona to pick up more cars and locomotives then heads west again to Conway, Pa where it terminates. That's why when you see that the Heritage units are in Conway that's the train that picks them up. They are put online at Conway and sent out from there. As of right now the NKP Heritage unit was the only one to make it's way back to Altoona this week.

Also the PRR unit made local newspapers and even the news. There was a guy there when the paper was there taking photo's for a company that builds model railroad locmotives.
