Ye Olde Huff & Puff wood freight car kits

Has anyone built their S, O, or On30 kits? I have bought some details for a project they are good, but noticed some of thier kits looked interesting are they decent builds?

I have their C&S Boxcar and Tiffany Reefer (On3). I was underwhelmed by the details...and the silk screened lettering was terrible. I've never bothered to even start the C&S boxcar...only the stripwood is usable and a few of the detail parts (Grandt Line castings). The On3 cars are not just crude, but out of scale...I cut it down to make it scale and replaced most of the details...basically scratchbuilding.

Now, the On3 cars were the Mainline Models product line, and not necessarily representative of the actual Ye Olde Huff'n Puff HO/S/O kits. But, I'd recommend trying one or two kits first...in case they are as bad as the On3 kits. A friend has commented on seeing them on other peoples layouts...slightly off in dimensions, but neat prototypes and fun to build.

My primary goal is a large Oahu Railway layout in On3
My secondary interests are modeling the Denver, South Park, & Pacific in On3 and NKP in HO

Thanks for the info, was thinking about an O or S Moxie box car kit or maybe some narrow gauge just for fun.
