GOYD Challenge
#1
I had backed off for a long time, but I got off my duff a couple weeks before this challenge came along. There was everything from foam pieces, bags of scenery material, big ship model boxes, you name it. I finally got it cleaned of everything that was not train related, and scenery stuff bagged and on shelves and in drawers. Here is a couple pics of where I start now. Too bad I didn't take a 'before' picture.

Topping that off, I had a loco that barely ran, 2 gallopping geeses I could hardly get to go. Sooo, I got them going great. I wanted something strange, so I took a hot wheels and matched it up to a modified slot car motor, and ended up with a "rail car". They are very rustic looking, and "Southern-Engineered", but I finally figured out how to do it. I hope now I can make some good looking ones. I also got a cut down car painted and semi-decorated.
