Well, it's been just about a year since we opened the last thread. The last one had over 3600 posts, just close to the average. I'm assuming that this is #6 since we start a new one about once a year, but I'll try to confirm that.
Anyway, it's good to have you all here and hearing about your daily activities. I always like to know what it's like living in other areas, that's why you'll find a lot of my posts about normal things that happen around Arizona and what it's like living in a desert, even if Phoenix is the sixth largest city inf the US. Just like today, it's suppose to top out at around 103, but should ramp up 112 by Thursday, and Sunday's forecast calls for 116... Well, I always say, once it gets over 110, you really can't tell the difference.
I will lock the old thread so that no one continues to post there.

Thanks guys on the white water thought it was something like that.
Evening all not a lot going on now. Been a very quiet day did goto the store for a couple of items but other than that its been relaxing day even laid down and took a nap as wife was doing the same and of coarse our one cat Smokey has to sleep between us when where in bed he takes like 1/2 my pillow and lays between us with head on pillow like a human lol. He's the only cat I have ever had that can lay my head on and he will let me sleep that way using him as a pillow he just starts purring when I do it. He knows he's special to me. He was wild and I caught him and brought him into the house. I have one of his 1/2 sisters also shes a trip.
No train related Items got done today just didn't have the energy and we had a thunder storm around 2 P.M.
Have DR appointment tomorrow at 11am oboy what a way to ruin a day lol by time I get done day will be shot. Oh well need to go see him need refills for some of my drugs
Hope all had a good day talk to you all later

Is that scope a Dumont? Looks like it has a government property tag. That Textronix 635 that I bought back around 1975 had a NASA property tag. I bought it in Houston as surplus for a couple of hundred bucks. I tossed it in the trash in 1999 when it became a heavy liability and a poor doorstop.

Yes it is a DUMONT Type 304-H serial # 4N95 , the metal thing above the display is part of a clip on CB antenna. Being olive drab it may have been military at one time or another.
